Greg McClain of Logisticsetc.com explains how it is no longer a shippers market and how shippers are going to have to change their ways if they want to find trucks to haul their loads.
It is now a Carriers market,
Many shippers have brought their problems on themselves by either seeking rates below the market and also keeping drivers waiting at docks for hours. Now 37% of shippers can’t find trucks to move their loads.
Another shipper behavior that needs to be addressed is that many they send loads to be posted out to multiple brokers and Carriers. Greg explains why this is hurting them.
Shippers, it’s time to change and improve your relationships with brokers and carriers.
